Slow photography and storytelling retreat in the French Alps from October 8 to 12, 2025

In the crisp autumn air of the Alps, we stand together surrounded by golden leaves gently drifting to the ground.

The sound of your footsteps mingles with the quiet rustle of nature, and as you pause to focus on your breath, the world feels still.

In this moment, you don’t seek beauty with your eyes but with your heart—capturing images that speak to you, that resonate deeply and tell the stories only you can share.

Experience an immersive retreat in the serene French Alps, blending slow photography and storytelling to nurture creativity and mindfulness.

In a world overwhelmed by constant stress, endless streams of photos and the pressure of mastering technical perfection, slow photography offers a refreshing antidote. It invites you to pause, reflect, and go beyond the click of the shutter to discover a deeper creative process.

Photography doesn’t end after you take the picture—or even after editing and sharing it. There is a crucial, often overlooked step in between: building meaningful narratives. This is where the magic happens, transforming images into stories that resonate, connect, and leave a lasting impact.

Our retreat offers space to slow down, disconnect, and immerse in creativity and growth.

Mornings begin with immersive photo sessions in the stunning surroundings, capturing the beauty of forests, lakes and mountains. Afternoons transition into thoughtful workshops, blending photography and storytelling techniques to deepen your creative process. Evenings are reserved for shared meals, cozy fireside discussions, lectures and bonus experiences like film screenings, fostering a warm and collaborative atmosphere.

This setting and format are designed to help you slow down, focus deeply on your creativity and grow within a community that shares your passion for meaningful storytelling.

This retreat is for adventurers ready to explore unknown creative territories, whether you’re new to photography or have years of experience behind the lens.

It’s not about perfecting technical skills or boosting your Instagram profile—it’s about discovering your unique voice and using photography to tell meaningful stories. No fancy gear is required; bring whatever camera you feel comfortable with, even if it’s just your smartphone.

This is not a landscape photography workshop, though the stunning Alps will inspire you. It’s a journey of connection, reflection, and creating narratives that truly resonate.

Designed for the Curious

Your home in the Alps

The workshop will be held in a charming chalet nestled in the French Alps, where the crisp morning air carries the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and warm bread from the kitchen. This cozy setting will serve as our headquarters, where both participants and instructors will stay together, creating a true sense of community. The chalet provides easy access to remarkable locations for photography and we’ll have the opportunity to explore and shoot on foot, then return to the chalet to work on our material in a comfortable, collaborative environment.

Each day, we’ll gather at the chalet for lunch, creating a warm space to connect, reflect and discuss our work. Accommodation arrangements are part of the shared experience, with everyone staying in the chalet, which fosters an intimate and collaborative atmosphere.

Our team brings together a unique blend of expertise in storytelling and photography, united by a passion for helping you unlock your creative potential.

Tomás Correa

Photographer

Tomás Correa is a photographer with years of experience, passionate about exploring photography as a language capable of telling authentic and personal stories.

  • For Tomás, photography isn’t about creating “pretty” or “postcard” images—it’s about building visual metaphors, inviting multiple interpretations, and seeking deep connections between images.

Since 2013, he has been leading personalized workshops in places like Berlin, Barcelona, Madrid and the Canary Islands, helping participants develop their own visual voice. His workshops focus on fostering a reflective and mindful approach, blending technical skills with creativity. He also introduces the concept of combining images to transform and enrich their meaning, exploring visual storytelling from a unique perspective.

Inspired by the slow movement, Tomás encourages participants to pause, observe, and create intentionally, making photography a deeply personal and meaningful experience.
